Region XII Development Corporatoin Loan Review Committee
Applications for financing through Region XII Development Corporation's Revolving Loan Funds for economic development are reviewed first by a loan review committee. The committee is comprised of two representatives from each of the six counties that make up Region XII, including the county's economic development director and a representative from a bank in the county. Ex-officio members of the committee include the executive director and fiscal officer from Region XII COG, and an attorney-advisor. The committee meets when necessary to review applications. Meetings are usually held the day before executive board meetings. Recommendations of the loan review committee are forwarded to the executive board for approval. The committee is responsible for helping to determine financing levels, fiscal soundness of the applicant, loan terms, loan extensions, etc.
